This position will perform skilled and semi-skilled labor in the construction, maintenance and related service activities for the city's cemeteries; to perform a variety of ground maintenance services including mowing, irrigation, turf and general equipment maintenance; and to perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, construction and repair work in the area of work assigned.?Apply herbicides, pesticides and other chemicals in a safe manner. Operate and maintain grounds maintenance and repair equipment. Respond to inquiries and complaints from the public in a tactful manner.?Operate a variety of landscaping tools and equipment including backhoes, mowers, trucks and?power tools such as chain saws, blowers, welders and weed eaters.?Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time and in unfavorable weather conditions.?Follow all safety rules and regulations of the division to which assigned. Responsible for implementing the Fat, Oils, and Grease (F.O.G.) program which involves collecting information, inspecting grease traps quarterly, tracking information and ensuring compliance with ordinances and regulations.? Provides updates to Engineering/GIS Department for tracking purposes. Implements the Industrial Pretreatment Program by organizing and tracking all information, creating reports, and providing updates to the Engineering/GIS Department. 1-3 years? experience in working with public in city mapping, Fat, Oils, and Grease (F.O.G.) program, policies required for creating addresses, zoning and abatement. Possession of, or ability to obtain, certification by Oklahoma Code Enforcement Association as code enforcement officer within one year of employment.

They organize kitchen processes to maintain high quality, safety, efficiency, and profitability. They train and manage the kitchen team in a manner that meets the objectives set forward by the Director of the Irving Community Center. Must have strong food preparation skills, and lead in the kitchen in purchasing and inventory management. Exercised supervision over meal preparation staff, center volunteers, and dishwashing personnel. At least two years? experience with food service, food preparation, and/or catering. Firm grasp of margins and inventory control. Willingness and ability to learn to meet the changing requirements of the job. Possess a State of Oklahoma Safe Food Handler certificate, or ability to obtain it.? Previous education, experience, training or leadership in food service is preferred.

This position will be responsible to oversee and coordinate the planning and zoning functions and activities within the Community Development Division; to implement program goals and objectives; and to perform a variety of professional, technical, and administrative duties to support the division. Under the direction of the Community Development Director, the Planning & Zoning Coordinator is responsible for the current and long-range planning, development, and implementation of land use, growth management and related policies, housing and dilapidated policy, administering and enforcement of zoning, subdivision, code enforcement, floodplain management, and other ordinances in the City. Administers and updates the Comprehensive Plan, Subdivision Regulations, and Zoning Ordi-nance and other ordinances as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or related field preferred. Three (3) years or more of municipal planning experience preferred. An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

License/Certificate

1. Possession of a Class D Oklahoma driver's license by date of appointment.

2. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) or ability to obtain preferable.

This position will be responsible to plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the public works division including streets, utility line maintenance, water and wastewater plants, solid waste, construction, garage, and airport; to coordinate assigned activities with other divisions and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager. Exercises direct supervision over management, supervisory, professional, technical and clerical staff.

Experience & Training: Six years of increasingly responsible public works, engineering, construction or other management experience including three years of management and administrative responsibility. Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university. Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
