The City of Ada is accepting applications for the full time position of Lift Station Maintenance Worker. To assist with the inspection and maintenance of all lift stations and supporting equipment and machinery; to assist with the maintenance and service of the water treatment plant equipment and the wastewater treatment plant; and to perform a variety of technical and mechanical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. Possession of, or ability to obtain, DEQ, class "D" Water and Wastewater Operator licenses issued by the State of Oklahoma Division of Environmental Quality within six months of employment by the City of Ada.

Selected individual must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma Class A commercial driver's license with tanker endorsements within one year.?

Working conditions travel from site to site; field environment, exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, and inclement weather conditions, work around heavy equipment.
