The City of Ada is accepting applications until filled for the position of Engineering Director.? Individual selected will be responsible to work with City Department Directors and the City Manager to design and prepare detailed construction drawings, topographical profiles, and related maps and specifications in construction projects such as streets, highways, water, sewer, and drainage improvements and to inspect and to oversee these projects to ensure that procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications.? In addition, this individual will supervise and coordinate environmental program activities and operations with other departments, outside regulatory agencies, and the general public.? Successful applicant needs experience and training acquired by a Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.? The success applicant must possess or be able to obtain a Professional Engineer license issued by the State of Oklahoma, or as a minimum, have passed or have the ability to pass the fundamentals of Engineering exam, as well as a valid driver?s license.?
