The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position Parks Maintenance Worker I or Parks Maintenance Worker II.?
WORKER I: This position performs skilled and semi-skilled labor in the construction, maintenance and related service activities for the city's parks, athletic fields and rights-of-way; to perform a variety of ground maintenance services including mowing, irrigation, turf and equipment renovation; and to perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. This is the entry level class in the Parks Maintenance Worker series. This class is distinguished from the Parks Maintenance Worker II by the performance of the more basic range of duties assigned including performing general parks maintenance duties consisting of mowing, trimming, herbicide application and park maintenance construction duties. Employees at this level receive more frequent instruction or assistance and are not expected to be fully trained upon hire.?
WORKER II: This is the journey level class in the Parks Maintenance Worker series. Positions
at this level are distinguished from other classes within the series by the level of responsibility
assumed and the complexity of duties assigned. Employees perform the most difficult and
responsible types of duties assigned to classes within this series including conducting the most
complex parks maintenance duties including operating the equipment and conducting playground
equipment inspections. Employees at this level are required to be fully trained in all procedures
related to assigned area of responsibility. CDL, and Certified Applicator License preferred.

position of Probationary Police Officer. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the
enforcement of state and local laws and the prevention of crimes, as well as
technical and administrative tasks in support of the Police Department.
Applicants must be available for emergency recall within twenty (20) minutes of
notification. Preference will be given to individuals that are CLEET Certified
and COPs graduates. Candidates will need
to be eligible to participate in the Oklahoma Police Pension System. For new members, this includes the ability to

Individual selected will be responsible to Inspect pumps and gauges in either the water or wastewater treatment plant: record all vital information on production totals: adjust gauges as appropriate. Collect water samples: perform chemical tests; determine chemical needs of the water; calculate chemical dosages and add appropriate chemicals to the water.
