City Council names Tommy Eaton as new City Manager
(ADA, OKLAHOMA/June 17, 2025) ? Interim City Manager Tommy Eaton has been selected by the Ada City Council as the next City Manager. During the City Council Meeting on Monday, June 16th, the City Council unanimously (5-0) approved the appointment.
We?re thrilled to have Tommy Eaton as Ada?s new City Manager,? stated Mayor Karen Hudson. ?Tommy has a strong background in public administration, a great work ethic, and a highly regarded reputation for integrity and steady leadership. He?s well respected by those who?ve worked with him, and I know he?ll be a key player in the future growth and success of our community.?
City Manager Eaton began his career with the City of Ada in 2019 as the Parks and Public Facilities Director. In 2024, he was appointed as Director of Operations, and in April of this year as Interim City Manager.
Previously, he served as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent in public education. He graduated from East Central University (ECU) with a bachelor?s degree, and a master?s degree in public administration. He is married to Keri, and they have two adult children, Jordyn and Cale.
