City Council appoints Interim City Manager (ADA, OKLAHOMA/April 22, 2025) ? City of Ada Director of Operations Tommy Eaton has been appointed as Interim City Manager. During the City Council Meeting on April 21st, the City Council unanimously (5-0) voted to appoint Tommy Eaton as the Interim City Manager. Mr. Eaton began his career with the City of Ada as Parks and Public Facilities Director in July 2019. He served in that position until he was appointed Director of Operations in December 2024. Previously, he served as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent in public education. Mr. Eaton graduated from East Central University where he played basketball and holds a bachelor?s degree, and master?s degree in administration. His wife Keri works for the Chickasaw Nation, and they have two children Jordan and Cale.
