The Enhanced 911 call center, also known as Central Dispatch, handles all emergency calls on Ada and Pontotoc County. The department handles emergency calls for the Ada Police Department, the Ada Fire Department, the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office, and county EMS and volunteer fire departments. The Enhanced 911 call center also accepts after-hours calls related to infrastructure emergencies, such as water line breaks. Due to the heavy volume of calls, citizens are asked to only dial 911 in case of an emergency. Click here for a document about what to expect when calling 911 for an emergency.
For non-emergency information, please contact the city's main switchboard during business hours at (580) 436-6300.
