Lace up your shoes and join the Chickasaw Nation and Mercy Hospital in saving hearts with soles, Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. – noon at Wintersmith Park in Ada, Oklahoma, for the 2017 Southeastern Oklahoma Heart Walk. Heart disease is still the number one cause of death for Americans, affecting one person every 39 seconds. The Heart Walk offers a day of free family fun while raising funds for the American Heart Association (AHA). The AHA funds research towards medical progress in prevention of heart disease. The disease affects babies, children, teens and adults. In Oklahoma the AHA funds education and community outreach programs that improve the lives of people in our state. Giving your support is easy.
