The Chickasaw Nation Department of Health is hosting the Heart & Sole 5K Run & Fun Walk. This event is being held to help raise awareness in our surrounding communities and raise funds to support local medical research and educational programs of the American Heart Association. All proceeds raised at this event will go to the American Heart Association. The Heart & Sole 5K Run & Fun Walk will be held at Wintersmith Park in Ada, OK on Saturday, March 19, 2016. The fun walk will start at 8:00AM in front of the Wintersmith lodge. The 5K run will start in front of the Wintersmith lodge at 8:15AM and continue onto Wintersmith Dr., to Scenic Dr. and finish back by Wintersmith lodge. Two laps on this sanction are 5 kilometers. Pets and strollers are welcome. Registration for the 5K run & walk is $25.00, and includes the Heart & Sole t-shirt. Registration online will close at 8:00PM on Friday, March 18, 2016. Registration will close at 7:30AM on March 19th. Medals will be given to winners after the race is completed. An update regarding those age groups will be added soon.
Saturday, March 19 from 2-4 pm. $5 per person (ages 1-13) includes egg hunt, tattoos, Easter Bunny, pictures, bounce house and slide. All proceeds go toward Relay for Life.
