The Ada Public Works Authority is the arm of the City of Ada that keeps the infrastructure in working order. These departments include Line Maintenance, Sanitation, Recycling, Street, and Construction. Charges are calculated based on total weight. If you live inside Ada city limits, the charge is $30 per ton with a $7.50 minimum charge. If you live outside the Ada city limits, the charge is $45 per ton with a $7.50 minimum charge.
Check to make sure the sewer clean-out cap is loose. And, during normal hours, call the Public Works office at 436-8100. If it is after hours, call the police department at 332-4466, and a crew will be dispatched.
The landfill is open from 9 to 5 Monday through Saturday.
