The Ada Fire Department is a multipurpose department that combines the practices of fire protection, fire prevention, rescue, and code enforcement. The city's fire insurance classification is four, while the adjacent area has a classification of nine. There are two fire stations. Central Fire Station is located downtown on the southwest corner of the intersection of 12th and Broadway. Fire Station No. 2 is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of 6th and Highland.
