City Council approves street concrete panel replacement project (ADA, OKLAHOMA/January 4, 2022) ? During the City Council meeting on Monday, January 3, the City Council unanimously approved a street panel replacement project for Ada streets that will begin in March of this year. EMS Services, LLC out of Oklahoma City provided the lowest bid (coming in at $521,673.00) and was awarded the project. The project includes concrete panel replacements to five (5) designated streets that were selected during a previous street evaluation process and is funded completely by Proposition 1. ?This project from an efficiency standpoint is very good for the City of Ada,? stated Mayor Randy McFarlin. ?It rehabilitates portions of streets instead of tearing an entire street apart. Quicker and less inconvenience for its residents. There is a panel replacement scheduled in each ward, ?Mayor McFarlin said. Streets included in the panel replacement project are Frontage Road (off of North Broadway), East Sixth Street between North Broadway and Constant, a portion of Rebecca Lane, East 18th Street between Stadium and Francis, and West Kings Road (off of South Broadway Avenue.
